Life Experience There comes a time in life, when everyone has to be brave. My time came about two months ago. As a middle school girl, we all experience drama, that truly brings out the worst in everyone. Loosing friends, learning the truth, and accepting yourself as well as others, all fall into the time I had to be brave. Along with drama, most girls have family issues, and I, unfortunately, am one of those girls. I have learned that the “friends” I have, run when you need them most. Drama is one thing in life, that all teenage girls experience, but not quite the way it goes down at Elm Grove. It starts out as “he said she said,” then turns into things so crazy, that girls can NOT handle. There is backstabbing, name calling, Facebook status’, tweets, and oh so much more. What middle school girls experience in this generation is far beyond acceptable. From best friends, to enemies, and back to normal, is about the usual for us girls at Elm Grove. There are so many things going on in a girl’s life, and drama is one less thing we SHOULD be worrying about. This is a story about when I had to face the drama, and be brave. Teo months ago, during Mardi Gras, nine of my closest friends and I, had a sleepover. That night we had discovered our friends had been backstabbing us for the past two years. We felt pain,anger, and we were very disappointed in the friends we thought were true. Everything we had ever told them was probably being spread around school as we speak. We had to be the stronger people. The Christian people. The more mature people, and stop the madness. On the side of all of this, my family was going through major issues, as well as a few of my friends’ families also. Mom and Dad fighting, sisters and brothers fighting, financial problems.
