Learning, Human Development & Identity Formation 1) Nature is defined as an argenismis biological inheritance while nurture refers to an organism’s environmental experience. Nature is what we naturally do as humans and nature is what we do when were surrounded by certain in our daily lives. Piaget would agree with nurture, Erikson would agree with nature, and Kohlberg would agree with nature, and skinner would agree with nurture. 2) My theory of human nature is where humans have a different way of thinking, feeling and behavior and this is what makes us different as humans. I think that people are inherently bad but Piaget would say that people are inherently good. Piaget theory states that children moral judgment build on their cognitive development. Erikson would say that people are inherently good. Kohlberg would say that people are inherently good. Their theory states that people are good by nature. 3) In life I feel like I’m supposed to play a women’s role in life not a male role. I’m also expected to play a big sister role, a daughter role. Erikson’s theory states that the adolescence stage (12-18) is when we start to learn our identity and role confusion. They begin testing roles and blending them in singular identity. This is how they make sense of themselves. 4) I’ve recently became aware that I doubt myself a lot. This new awareness was accommodated.
