Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Learning about the past is very fascinating because you learn so much about how things were then and how people managed. For example the Romans and there way of life. Compare the way Romans lived and how we do things today is something different. The way they built their houses. We have so much technology today and it is much easier for us then it was for them. We are always improving from our past and avoiding mistakes. It is quite remarkable how they built their houses. At least 10 men or more were needed to carry 1 ton of granite stone, and roll them on wood. One is wondering how they built the Pyramides. It is really facinating and mysterious. For example on Easter Island. There are hundreds of giant stone statues and they weigh about 10 tons each and they are peculiar shaped heads. Also The lost civilizations under sea level, to see how developed these nations were. Everything was so precise and sometime two things matched precisely for example the head of the Sphinx, each side of the head matched exactly. Learning about the past brings us all the knowledge and information in the past. Without yesterday, there is no today. A society can develop only when its people inherit and understand the achievements of the people before them. For everything needs to develop.. For example, before 1964 there was only black and white television but until now there are are colour televisions that are slim such as LCD TV... The black and white television made the basis and gave inventors idea to develop the modern TV nowadays. Therefore our knowledge, success today is the result of constant work of our ancestors before. It‘s impossible to ignore the past, you have to learn from it and make it the foundation to build
