Raise learner’s awareness of cultural difference and the refection in the way of calling family members 2. Have some ideas of a Chinese family 3. Know how to call each family member in Chinese Comment: 1. The lesson is well planned and timed 2. The different teaching methods and approaches are blended in the lesson 3. It’s a clear learner-centred teaching style and learners are active participators in most of time 4. The different learning styles and abilities of learners are considered with multifunction and multisensory materials used in lesson. 5. The topic was introduced naturally and the different stages are smoothly transferred 6. The usage of mother tongue is minimum. 7. The instructions given are simple, clear and easy to follow 8. The activities are fun, engaging and promoting learning process effectively 9. The four language skills are all covered. 10. As many games are competitive, which are effective but also pressuring, and caused unnecessary arguments between the children. 11. A couple of children were reluctant to take part in the games because of the fear of losing the game. 12. The misbehaviours are dealt with immediately . Suggestions: 1. Think of a less competitive variation of the games 2.
