Objective: Write a personal reflection on all the knowledge issues in the consideration of language. Language, a Way of Acquiring Knowledge Language is one of the main methods used to acquire knowledge. It is a way of communication, through which information can be exchanged and thought can be formed. This means, that language sometimes influences thought, as it allows people to visualize a mental image of the subject. One might also obtain meaning by applying this way of knowing, and truly process more and more understanding of the surrounding world. Although some problems in meaning may arise, language is a very vital criterion in attaining knowledge. Language exists in many forms, where every type of communication allows a person to reach a certain level in knowledge. The main two categories under which all forms of language fall are verbal and non-verbal. Verbal communication is presented as spoken, where sound shapes different words when the speaker knows what he orates and the listener tries to figure out what he hears. It is also displayed in the form of writing where a system of symbols known as letters is used. Verbal language is one of the most common forms of intended communications amongst people, in the quest of knowledge. For example, most education occurs when the teacher speaks what the student should write and also understand. When the verbal case is not applied, non-verbal forms of communication are rendered. Body, sign, musical, aesthetic, computerized, coded, mathematical, diagrammatical, symbolic and many others are types of non-verbal language. This is where many symbols or actions are used in order to transmit a certain entity of knowledge across two or more beings. An example of this would be laughter, where the person who finds a matter humorous lets everyone else know how funny he believes this subject is by emitting this
