Korean Traditional Food Korea has many traditional food. From snacks to main dishes, it is imposible to enumerate them. And some of them are already familiar to other countries people such as Kimchi, Bulgogi, and Kimbab. Even In my high school, one of the cateen there sells kimbab. Anyway Kimchi is like a icon of Korea. So today i like to introduce Kimchi to you. Kimchi is is a traditional fermented Korean side dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings. It tastes spicy and sour. It has many kinds. We deferenciate them by what is it made of. you can make it with cabbage, cabbage kimchi is the basic one. and you can also make it using radish,cucumber, sesame leaf, welsh and many more. There is also white kimchi which is not spicy but still delicious. According to research there are more than 30 kinds of kimchi. Kimchi became popular not because of how it taste but because of it’s effect/virtue. In fact several studies have shown that kimchi probiotics protect against even the worst viruses and bacteria.The “good” bacteria in kimchi produce bacteriocins – which are harmless to the body and the rest of your “good” bacteria, but are toxic to the “bad” bacteria.Kimchi also enhances the body’s immune defences with its effects on the body’s immune system the Peyer’s patches enhancing your immune system is crucial to your well being. The single biggest risk factor for deadly infection or disease is a weakened immune system. Kimchi is really a important food for Korean.Kimchi is our national dish.
