Why was Henry V so succesful in France 1415- 1422? Henry V was succesful in eventually getting what he always wanted, The Treaty of Troyes in France in many ways. His leadership and belief from early on that he would succeed in getting what he wanted thrived on, taking him and his men through Harfleur, Agincourt and furthermore gaining more land in France. His success began early on with his preperations for his frist invasion. Due to Henry being popular parliament were willing to help finance his invasion.
George Mueller’s arrest caused eight thousand steel and electrical workers in the Pittsburgh district to strike in protest. Mueller wanted them to return to work, but the union members had a meeting and voted to not consider a company offer about their wages until the court lifted its antistrike injunction. Due to the strike many stores closed, and the trolley service was reduced to 50 per cent of what it was before. The charges against Mueller were eventually dropped, which led to negotiations about wages. Trolley service was completely cut by a sympathy strike a short time after the negotiations began.
Many lost their jobs, and were forced to look for work elsewhere. Numerous people were also forced to leave school to help pay the bills (Doc 1). Herbert Hoover, considered one of the worst presidents ever, did not help the situation very much. In 1930 he said that “The Depression is over.” However, the Depression did not end until 1937 when World War II began (Doc 2). The country was fed up with Hoover’s help.

They call in with a specific question and if you make the mistake of asking “Is there anything else I can help you with today”, you open up a whole can of worms. They want to tell you that their pet had to go to the vet last week and it cost them hundreds of dollars. They have to mention how their children live in other states and never call them anymore. They want you to know that they are retired and all the things they do in their free time (like call and talk to customer service reps).
