His mother was a big influence in his life. She always kept a close eye on him in the earlier stages of his life. She cared about him and believed of what he was capable to do in his life so much that even followed him to West Point when he was a cadet, and lived there so she could be close to him.
Curley’s wife wasn’t allowed to talk to nobody’ but she found any excuse to be outside and talk to everyone. No one there wanted to talk to her because they were scare they would get in trouble.
