During the World War I era girls were much more proper and disciplined than now days. Helens respect and love for Krebs is hardly talked about in the story although there is no doubt has a lot of both feelings towards Krebs. Although Krebs doesn’t receive the homecoming as a soldier that he thought he would Helen is there to tell and show how proud of him she is. Helens choice to invite her brother to her softball game is one of the signs of how much she looks up to Krebs and wants his involvement in her life. That’s impressive. However, because of the focus on non-academic activities, he feels it helps shape him into an individual thinker. Brittany, the other American student felt the same. So maybe it’s just the America doesn’t understand that it’s in competition with other countries. So, all in all the U.S students do have it easier.
I take a high level of pride in my last name because I was always taught it represented our family as a whole. Whenever someone says “Alex Keller” is not a good person, they are shaming my entire family and that isn't something I should bring upon us. On the contrast my mother, hailing from Detroit, taught me about standing up for what is right and having my voice heard. Many social issues such as racism or homophobia were never really a problem for me. I literally didn't even know things like that existed till I got to intermediate school.
In conclusion, Aunt Harriet looks like David’s mother for him about what have heard and seen about her. In summary, in “The Chrysalids” novel, Uncle Axel, Aunt Harriet and Mrs.Wender was mother like to David and they had a better relationship with him than his parents. Everyday in this “perfect” society children are being born and placed into foster families, group homes, or other facilities that children are placed into when their biological parents do not believe they can take care of them. This concept is just like the arranged marriages that take place everyday in Yemen. Efforts by loving parents to find a better life for their children. In both circumstances, the children have no say in what is going on and both cases can lead to a worse life for the daughter or son. So we, as Americans or any other culture, have no right to judge the lives of other cultures when we do the exact same thing.
We still live according to general human pattern. Teens would follow what parents said, girls would act like the way they were brought up, and men would not act badly against women since most men are taught to treat their women well. Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House is filled with many different characters and themes which are able to be compared with one another, from its versatile cast of characters to the controversial themes that it covers. The main characters in the play share many similarities with each other, especially in the beginning of the play, which likely stems from the fact they were all subjected to the same social and cultural influences. This becomes apparent when contrasting people like Mr. Helmer and Mr. Krogstad, both of whom show great concern for the way they are portrayed socially. Nora and Kristina Linde also have quite a few contrasts between them, such as their different life experiences, and the way that Nora loses her husband just as Ms. Linde reunites with Krogstad during the conclusion. The themes presented, such as legality versus morality and male and female gender roles, also allow critics to create comparisons that provide an analysis of the play and the impact it has on an audience.
However, most parents THINK they're always right. Because they think that they are older and more knowledgeable, (which is true) they will never make mistakes. However, it is because that they think that they're older and more knowledgeable they make the mistakes. Often, they do not admit their mistakes or they make up excuses like "I'm testing you". There are a handful of parents in this authoritative world which do admit to their mistakes, like mine, sometimes.
They both behave differently and there are a lot of theories on the differences between men and women. These theories are all based on generalizations because it is impossible to say that all men and all women act in the same way. Not only the behavior of men and women differs significantly, the ways in which they communicate can be seen as two different languages. This causes a lot of miscommunication between men and women. 2.
The youth of any country and the younger generation become the leaders of the future. This being known many countries take great strides to educate and prepare the younger generation for this role. But all countries aren’t equal and all don’t prepare their youth in the same way. Regardless of this unequal preparation the goals of young adults are much the same. In a comparison between Chinese and American youth it is seen that their goals are much the same and their motivation behind these goals all have to do with the universal need to be nurtured and loved in a family environment.
