Sarah contacted a close friend of hers to name Diana blue who is a pediatrician and is and atheist to receive some advice on her situation. Diana told Sarah that she works around special need kids every day and see how hard it is on the parents and it would be her best interest to spare her the stress and abort the child. Diana stated that there should be decrease in suffering in this world and an increase of happiness upon us humans. Sarah should consider her child right to live, gods will, and a choice that she can live with for the rest of her life. Ethical dilemma: Sarah has been trying to conceive her first child for quite some time and her wish has finally been granted.
1/30/12 English II "Future Home of the Living GOD" I believe the story " Future Home of the Living GOD " is about Mary Potts . She was givenup by her mom when she was an infent, living with a foster family ( Alan & Sera ). They are a wealthy family that Loves and has high expectations for Mary Potts. Mary Potts is pregnant and believes theres an illness going on with her baby. She finds the letter her moms writes her and calls the number she left on it.
Now that’s growing up without a childhood. Jane Smiley seems like a great parent who cares about her children but to allow her daughters to put on makeup even entering their teenage years just isn’t right. Her girls where prematurely growing up, where behaving beyond their age, and with their only priority being beautiful at all times it seem to help them in the long run. As they burned off the “Barbie stage” and grew into more important things down their lives. Like for example Smiley talks about her older daughter, “Now she is planning to graduate school and law school and become an expert on woman’s health issues, perhaps adolescent health issues like anorexia and bulimia” (377).
He was able to help bring my mother back to her children. In the beginning it was rocky getting to trust him, but eventually I began to trust them both. Today, I have back my nurturing, loving, and God fearing mother. In conclusion, a memory of heartache and tragedy no longer has a hold on my life. Witnessing my mother going through her struggles and overcome her addiction crack to gain her life and family back has helped me to see there is a future.
Climax: Later in life Levonne reconnects with her birth mother and asks her questions, but her birth mother refuses to answer them. Falling Action: Levonne sets up many meeting places for her and her birth mother to talk about the decisions she made while pregnant with Levonne. Her birth mother refuses to show up to any of them, and Levonne carries anger and bitterness towards her mother throughout life. Resolution: Levonne forms a closer bond with her adopted family and realizes that her birth mother is not capable of having a one on one conversation with her yet, so lets her birth mother take her time about

In the novel Every Last One, by Anna Quindlen, she creates a portrait of a mother, a father, children and violent consequences. Mary Beth Latham, is a suburban, white women who is a mother of three teenaged children that had always came first, before her role as a wife to a doctor or even her career as a landscape gardener. Mary Beth cared deeply for her family and preserved their everyday life as sovereign. However, when Max, one of her sons, becomes very depressed, Mary Beth became focused on her son, and is blindsided by an outrageous act of violence when half of her family became murdered by her daughter Ruby's ex-boyfriend Kiernan, leaving her with only one son, Alex. Every Last One is a novel about a women having to face difficult situations in life while being emotionally and financially responsible for the rest of her family.
For the little girl in our story both sides of it effected her. Using care based ethics, she was given the chance to live in a caring home where she grew to know them as her parents. When we used rules based ethics, it helped her in the beginning and one could say hurt her in the end. She was forced to move back in with her birth parents after 9 years of not knowing them. The “parents” that she did know had no choice in keeping her or not.
Charleena Hendly is an actress who performed in many hit movies until she decides to move back to Culpepper her hometown for a little break. She was very tired of making movies and also recovering from her heartbreak of her husband cheated on her for a model and left her. After all that she has her little helper Macon who cleans the house and does many of her errands around the town, So Macon friend of Foster introduces her to Miss. Charleena and one day Macon is so sick with a fever he cannot go at her house so he sends foster to substitute for him while he is sick. That’s when Foster gets a paper with many chores for her to do around the house given by Miss.
Lily is raised in a tangled web of lies only to discover all the answers by running away from home, not only does this event resolved her and her father’s broken relationship; but she is also given the opportunity to mature around supportive women she needed all along. When she arrives at August’s house and realizes that it holds a connection to her mother, August explains to her that she understands why she came… but that she also thinks she will eventually want to return to her father’s home. “I know you've run away - everybody gets the urge to do that some time - but sooner or later you'll want to go home.” (Kidd 79). When her father finds where she had run off to, he finally provides Lily with the answer and truth she had always wanted to know but never wanted to hear. “The truth is your mother ran off and left you.” (Kidd 276).
