The movie follows him through his childhood when he wrote his first symphonies, up until his abrupt death. The movie shows a human side to the composer that you cannot gain simply by listening to his music. It shows how he struggled while he was alive to earn for his family and profit off of his music.
With the assistance of his band, the Boss puts on two to three hour concerts and even once a four-hour concert. The E. Street Band and Springsteen is an unstoppable rock machine. Their look doesn’t stray beyond the causal plaid, blue jean, red bandana, or all black dirty underworld 70s “Rock and Roll” experience. When “Born to Run” is performed at concerts it’s done as an anthem. The audience all sing along, lead by Springsteen and the E. Street Band—who themselves are rocking out to it as much as the audience is.

Oral Presentation Lou Harrison was one of the great composers of the twentieth century--a pioneer in the use of alternate tunings, world music influences, and new instruments. Born in 1917 in Portland Oregon, he spent much of his youth moving around Northern California before settling in San Francisco. There he studied with the modernist pioneer of American Music, Henry Cowell, and, while still in his twenties, composed extensively for dance and percussion. He befriended another of Cowell's students, John Cage, and the two of them established the first concert series devoted to new music for percussion. They composed extensively for these concerts, including their still popular collaboration Double Music.

He could sing, dance, and act, which put him into a lot of movies. But his best known movie is “White Christmas”, where two WWII army friends that now have a big singing career happen to meet the girls of their dreams, auditioning them to sing the song “Sisters”. Through a crazy scheme, the four travel up to Vermont to see the snow at Christmas.
