The United States Constitution, fourth amendment protects an individual from unreasonable search and seizure. When our four fathers incorporated this law it was meant to state to the police that an individual has rights they are not to be broken. For example when a police pulls a person over on the road or while they were driving the police are not allowed to search their trunk and closed glove compartment without a search warrant. Never the less there are police that disobey this law and go forth with the search of these areas. The good thing about this law is that whatever the police find in these areas without a search warrant will not be immiscible in court.

Is the Government over Utilizing their Power
The United States Constitution created by our four fathers, is a set of laws that is created to protect the people’s rights. Each law plays a different part, for example the first amendment is based on an individual’s free speech, religion and press. The fourth amendment protects unlawful search and seizures of a person within the comfort of their home, car or person.
“The right of the people to be secure in their person, house, papers, and effects, against         unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be search, and the person or thing to be seized.” Brandl (2008)
In order to carry out a search and seizure the officer must have a search warrant provided by a judge. Without it, if the officer carries out the search and find anything that might help the case, the judge will tell them it will not be allowed in court because the evidence was found by an unlawful search.   The only way a search without a warrant will be allowed in court would be a consent search, stop and frix or a search...
