There are many policies and procedures that ensure children are treated fairly. An example of a policy that helps promote fair practice is the admission’s policy. An admission policy enables an equal chance for all children to attend a setting. Lily’s Day Nursery is an example of a setting that promotes fair admission.

If such protests are to be viable and achieve their ends it is essential that the demonstrators obey the law and involve the police in planning process to ensure that no one is hurt and nothing is illegal. In conclusion, it certainly is true that peaceful and purposeful protests are a key component of democracy. It is every citizen’s democratic right to protest peacefully in an attempt to highlight issues which they believe are important and need to be resolved. However, to endanger the well-being and safety of the community at large is anti-social behaviour which cannot be tolerated. In order for such protests to be truly effective, it is necessary to involve the police in the planning so that they can facilitate
Because of such beliefs, authorities will almost certainly take action, to quash such perceptions, despite what is really happening at a local level. The question that should now be raised is how to deal with the issue of youth gangs in a way that is unthreatening to the community and to youths themselves and their rights. According to Howell (2000), evaluations in America have indicated that
Coordinated efforts of the international community to achieve and advance a common standard and international system of law to protect the human dignity”. The role of this community is to promote and engage by participating within their community. Support such issues as racial justice, religion and culture differences among the citizens. As this community continues to expand we want to be even more proactive in maintaining inclusive activities that build common interest while maintaining respect for differences. It is important that culture diversity is not lost but yet is advocates for its uniqueness instead of stereotyping one another.
The projects are to improve the self-esteem of gang members. They attempt this by providing them with education. Education is something that provides a gang member a positive thing to focus on. The youth can then improve their goals and will no longer need the support of the gang. Even finding them employment, again this helps their attention will be focused on something positive.
Kyle Suzadail Mr. Duffy 9/12/13 English Life Saver or Racial Profiling? An estimated 240 million calls are made to 9-1-1 in the U.S. each year (nena.org).With all these calls for multiple reasons, there is always a need for help from law enforcement. For example, there’s a gun fight on the streets of New York, bullets flying everywhere, people call the police for help because they want to be safe. Many people never think of this, but what protects the police officers, what keeps them safe? Police officers are there to protect and serve people of the city, but just because they are the police doesn’t mean they don’t need protection.
From Malcolm X actions towards segregation to Osama Bin Laden’s attack on September 11th, violence has been the way to resolve conflict. Violence seemed to be the way to advocate to others how feelings are directed towards a situation or show how far a person will go to prove their point. Non-violent leaders like Booker T. Washington and Geoffrey Canada believed that violence wasn’t the way to go about settling differences. The peaceful resistance advocated by both Washington and Canada is a viable solution because it would result in an increased number of leaders, a unified community, and alter the behavior of children. Seeing the work of great leaders help to aspire ordinary people to take charge and become leaders in their own communities.
