Working people constantly rely on high-calorie fast foods for lunch breaks or as a quick substitute for a meal for themselves and even the family. Whole Foods found a solution for their problems, through already prepared food. Their, “Whole Kitchen™, Whole Pantry™,” has already prepared meals from entrees, to appetizers, to desserts that are quick meal solutions. With the same quality as any of their other foods they allow for each customer to pick and choose a meal that is delicious with little to no time involved. If you find you have little time in the market but more time to cook the meals, monthly broachers put out by the company offer simple recipes that include all the ingredients and cooking or baking instructions.

Most people barbeque chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, ribs, and much more, but everyone has king cakes which are only in Louisiana. The smell of the people barbequing is marvelous. Everyone has an abundance of food; therefore no one goes hungry and maybe have enough for leftovers the next day. After everything is over; the floats and eating, people pack their chairs, towels, bags of beads, barbeque pits and head on home after an exhaustive day. When they get home they take the beads out the bags and keep the ones they like and throw the rest in the bag, and the little kids look through the bags to find toys that they can play with.
Whereas in America we have one last name and when a woman gets married it changes to her husband’s last name. La Siesta. In the early hours of the afternoon, when the intense heat of the sun discourages physical activity, people take a rest period, la siesta. Business people shut their doors at about one o'clock and go home to eat lunch with their families. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day and a time for the family to gather together.
Marketing Plan To start off our marketing campaign.. our main goal is to just get the word out about our restaurant. Since the restaurant aims at all age groups and both genders, we must also spread the word outside of the Towson University campus. Obviously the Towson students will be the first people we talk to since they are extremely relevant to our location. Towson University has well over 20,000 students now and with their support for our restaurant, our business will become nothing short of successful. Next comes the Towson community.
Chicken is the main product that is served on their menus which many prefer over beef. As far as customer service, Chick-Fil-a’s staff focuses on being swift and attentive. When the chain opens a new restaurant, it goes out its way to find customers in the area. Regualars at other locations and people who stop by the construction site eager about the opening get invited to a special dinner night before the official opening. Unlike Mcdonalds, Chick-fil-a serves the crowd a free dinner,10 coupons for free meals.
The food, while made to order, never seems to take that long. They allow you just enough time to munch on your appetizer and start in on dinner time conversation before the main attraction arrives. The heat can be felt coming off the piping hot plates. As it passes by the nose of the consumer their nostrils are filled with the scent of beans and rice, bubbling melted cheese, and their chosen main dish. Once the food is delivered and all the extra requests of the guests have been fulfilled, the server then steps away from the table, allowing time to eat and have conversation without being overly interruptive.
(Food Inc.) The narrator gives facts on how we as customers get to enjoy ‘tomatoes’ all year round. He states that they were “grown half way around the world, picked when it was green and ripened with ethylene gas” (Food Inc.). This is meant to inform the audience that what they are eating isn’t what it seems. Just like the rest of the vegetables in the supermarket that is not labeled “organic”. We rarely think completely about where the food we eat comes from and how is it produced.
The kids who participate also get a free kids meal from Chick-fil-A, and who passes up a free meal. This year I kept up with one of my good friends who work with Chick-fil-A and he told me they needed some extra help out there. I chose to do this event because it seemed like it would be a fun way to hang out with kids, and help Chick-fil-A in any way I can. I enjoy hanging out with kids so I knew I would enjoy this event. I got to dress up, get my face painted, and hang out with kids for four hours.
International Day at my school is a day when everyone comes to school with flags, signs, and clothing to represent their countries. Last year for International Day there was an assembly with students playing the role of traveler’s. They traveled to different countries like Greece, and Nigeria and told us somethings about their cultures. But I can’t forget the good food of different cultures being served for lunch. It ranged from curry chicken with rice to Fufu.
