I want to be the one to show this commitment as I progress through a doctorate degree. If awarded this scholarship I would not only fulfill my aspirations, but this scholarship will help others as well. The medical field
From my experiences as a student I have come to the realization that education is a very powerful, enriched, and very promising tool to have. Looking into society education speaks for itself. Obtaining higher education will result in success. It takes hard work, dedication, leadership, and trust. There is so much to learn education is so ongoing.
I am committed to excelling personally and professionally in all that I do and to serve as a role model by leading a healthy lifestyle. I believe that becoming a registered nurse will only be the beginning of my contribution to those I will help, and the medical field in general. After I get my BSN I plan to continue my education and get either my MD as an Orthopedic Surgeon or a masters as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. I feel as though I possess several characteristics that will positively influence my capability of successfully pursuing my goals as a healthcare provider. I have several strengths that will help my ability to connect with patients on a more personal level and not just business.
So if I use my degree to continue on my path in the insurance agency I have the experience going for me already and now that I have my health administration degree my opportunities in the company will open up for sure. Once I have completed my Bachelor Degree my plan is to take a break from school to see where I can go within my current career, but if the need arises I will definitely continue on to pursue my Master’s degree. As I stated earlier, my professional goal is to further my career within my insurance career with Allstate. I feel that when I start to advance within my current company I will want to eventually move up to one of Allstate’s market claims offices possibly as a medical adjuster. I feel that working within the medical part of claims will allow me to do what I love doing best which is being able to work with people and being a part of a company that is helping them in their time of need.
George Washington University has appealed to me since the beginning of my college search. It offers everything I could ever want to study, and it is the ideal location for me. I am interested in science, and I may eventually seek a future in medicine or the health sciences. Through the College of Arts and Sciences, I could explore a BA or BS in biology, or majors in biological anthropology or biophysics. The idea of having so many choices relating to one field is very exciting to me.
There is a substantial base of knowledge and specialized skills that are required depending upon your career. Their future successes as a professional are gained through continuous learning which allows the professional worker to
I believe that focusing on results has always been a large part of my future and I am always trying to learn new ways of doing things. I think that results are the main way of measuring success in business as well as school for me currently. If I am able to get my assignments done on time and make good grades on my tests I will have
I still have a passion for people and the subject matter that it involves. After shadowing some PA’s, I now have a greater sense of what the profession stands for and what one does in the profession, and it only makes me work harder towards my goal of having a long-term career as a physician assistant. There are so many other students around me that have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and I feel so lucky to know what I want to be when I “grow-up”, so to speak. I cannot picture myself doing anything else, and I can’t wait to move forward to achieve my goal of becoming a physician
Individually, it is my goal to be a sign of change in my respective field of Clinical Psychology and to help propel my community into a new, modern, reformed way of thinking. Similarly to Walden’s vision, I intend to use knowledge gained at the university as an immediate solution to facilitate significant changes in today’s society. After studying biology for four years at Acadia University and having broad research experience with both plants, animals, and psychology, my desire to cure various ailments and help and counsel
Growing up I was taught to give more than I receive. I enjoyed doing community service. It was the first time I was exposed to needy children, I had wanted to become a doctor indefinitely. Knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine, I had registered to become a volunteer at the local Sharp hospital. This was a huge step into becoming more closely involved wtih the surroundings I would experience once I am through with medical school.
