Football & Dancing Football A lot of people now a days are influenced on football for a variety of reasons. This could start off with the fact that your influenced to play football at a young age because your relatives do. Most Dad's who are passionate about football, get their child to start practising before they go into school. They may convince them to play the game for all the right reasons, wanting them to grow up and have a chance to make it professional. Everything their dad may of been taught at a young age. This all may pass through generations. But as the child grows up, there's a chance that you decide, football isn't your sport. Where you live can effect the choice of what sport you play. Living in a urban place, surrounded by cities, buildings, facilities and grass areas can have a large impact. Simple because we have the access to play football in our local park without having to worry about the amount of money we spend their, or the time limit we have their. Were as living somewhere like Sweden you wont have the access to football as much. Its likely to participate in a sport like skiing. Peer pressure. A lot of people do things because of their surroundings, ideally being their friends. If a majority of your friends play football your likely to start playing football because of the thought of you being left out. But people might grow up and yet still love football or some people leave it as it is, and pursue in another career. Gender also counts. Boys are more likely to participate in sports such as rugby, football, cricket, basketball etc. This has been going on for some time and its unlikely to find a boys netball team in London, were as there are loads of football teams, weather its for the youth or elderlies, round the corner. Role models and the media have a big impact on what sport you play, young people look up to role models
