Individual reflective component Working in a team is always challenging, as teams need people who speak up and express their thoughts and ideas clearly, directly, with respect for others and for the work of the team. This means communicating constructively. But not every person is a team player, so you have to be able to work with every type of personality to achieve the best results in your project. For my “English for Erasmus Students” assignment I had to work with two other girls, Alina Irionoiu and Maria Niculescu-Aron. Being of the same nationality helped us to better develop our report because we shared the same thoughts and opinions. Furthermore, we study at the same university in Romania, The Bucharest Academy of Economic studies, so the comparison between university education in Romania and the UK was even easier. But, starting new things is always difficult. You do not have any guidance, so this is why we decided to make a list with our tasks and responsibilities. To begin with, every one of us agreed that we can find more information if we ask people from both universities to complete a survey. Hence, for our second meeting we had to came up with ten interesting questions about our main topics: assessment criteria, financial aspects and the relationship between students and lecturers/ tutors. Coming back to Romania for our Christmas Holiday was the perfect opportunity to share our questionnaire with our colleagues. We asked them to answer all of the questions, but at the end of the day we noticed that collecting the data was too difficult. This is why we transformed our questionnaire in an online survey. We found out about a website were you can upload your questions and ask people to complete them online. This website was very helpful, not only we could ask many more people to complete it, but also we could collect the data right away. Sharing
