What course of action should Andrews follow? “A person is said to suffer from alcohol intoxication when the quantity of alcohol the person consumes produces behavioral or physical abnormalities.” Alcohol impairs mental and physical abilities including the quality of ones work. Personally If I were LPN Andrews I would immediately report RN Brewer to a charge nurse. RN Brewer is putting the lives of the patients in jeopardy and the facility in jeopardy.
By the third offense of impaired driving you while get a 30 day suspension, must attend a mandatory alcohol treatment program, 150$ fine and for six months ignition interlock. If you have a blood alcohol level over 0.08 you will have much more serious consequences. Such as, 1000$ fine, eventually a lifetime licence suspension and other serious consequences. There are also other consequences, drunk or impaired driving can lead to accidents, you can seriously injure yourself or someone else or it can even lead to someone's death. This is something you cannot take back, it can be something that ruins your life, impaired driving is a serious offense that should be dealt with seriously and not taken lightly.
Natalie Holme Honors English 12 August 12th, 2011 Summer Reading Assignment The ever present controversy between the tension of outward conformity and inward questioning was an issue that characters in all three novels were forced to cope with. Celie was confronted with it throughout the duration of her dysfunctional relationship with her husband in Alice Walker’s The Color Purple, Perry was confronted by the tension before and after he committed a heinous crime in Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood, and Chief Bromden was challenged with tension between outward conformity and inward questioning during the time he spent at the mental hospital in Ken Kessey’s One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest. The constant pressure to fulfill the role that society expected each character to play, led to increasing inward questioning. Many people feel extreme pressure to fit the mold that society builds for them. There are certain ways in which a person must conduct oneself to be deemed socially acceptable.

Wives of alcoholic husbands were especially involved in this movement. They were often abused by their drunken spouse and money meant for the entire household was often spent on booze. As a result, the first case was set to trial in Louisiana federal court recently. Kunzelman stated, “For the first time since Hurricane Katrina left tens of thousands of families living in FEMA trailers, a federal jury heard allegations Monday that the government-issued shelters exposed Gulf Coast storm victims to hazardous formaldehyde fumes.” (Kunzelman, M., 2009) Formaldehyde is a chemical that could possibly cause breathing problem and is commonly found in construction materials.
