The problem I have with balancing school, work, and family is being an excellent student, an outstanding employee, and a caring mother all at the same day. The trouble I have with being an excellent student while juggling a job and a family is finding the time to study. I cannot ignore my family. It is my responsibility, as a parent; to see to my family’s needs first, for this leads to homework and studies last some times. Staying awake after hours may contribute to arriving to class late.
By requiring students to take a break from technology and lend a helping hand, they become better people because the student then realizes the importance of human interaction and how just a simple smile can brighten someone’s day. In this aspect, future participation is prominent. Stepping outside a comfort zone plays a tremendous role on finding one’s specific interests and true personality. Mandatory community service exposes students to certain experiences in which the student may discover a hidden talent or passion for. Often, students who perform community service in order to graduate consider it a chore, however that is not the case for John Prueter.
If colleges provide on-site daycare facilities for their students it will allow them to concentrate fully on their work, reduce the number of students missing class or absenteeism, and retention rates will increase or the dropout rate will reduce. First if colleges provided on-site daycare facilities, it will allow students to concentration fully on their work. When students do not have to worry about daycare issues or lack of it, they will be able to increase productive by being able to focus on class work or any assignments given. Focus is very important in the lives of students. Students need to be focused, and this focus drives them to succeed.
The program gives you challenges and opportunities to become a better citizen. The instructors are not like teachers, they put in an effort for you to actually try and build up. You do leadership tasks; you help younger teens, participate in things that other teens don't get to participate in. The class isn't boring, you’re always learning about new things, we do weekly current events, and uniform wear. Wearing uniform teaches us responsibility; we have to make sure that our uniform is in order, and has everything on correctly.
A person will have more responsibility in work, which will affect there day to day life. As well as being more responsible they will be more independent as they will have money to be able to do more things. Being more responsible and more independent, means that they will develop a more mature way of thinking. They can be affected emotionally in two different ways positively or negatively. They may feel better emotionally because of the fact that they have a job; this is because they would have earned the money themselves, which to many would be a personal achievement and a ‘step up’ in life leading them to feel better about themselves.
Requiring such services would be perfect if you truly care about your students and their future education and careers. It also has the opportunity to get them connected with people in their community of higher power, who could write them a recommendation letter in the future. In addition, students who work as volunteers gain an understanding of their self-worth. Teenagers who get volunteered with family businesses, helping the homeless, cleaning up the community or even farms have a sense of themselves as contributors. This sense of importance may get lost when parents do everything for their children.
CONCLUSION Being put in a team to do assignments can be very hard for some people because they may like to work alone. But if you think about it if you work in a team you can get the work done in half the time. It won’t put a strain on you worrying how can you get the work done, knowing you have to work and do other day to day things. As long as you designate who is going to be the leader and do what the leader tells you or ask you to do, the team will be fine. Just think how exciting your paper will be with all the other ideas, they may think of things you had no idea even existed.
I have started paying more attention in classes than last year and im trying to produce good assignments which gain me the grades I desire. I want to be able to earn god money for myself and not be hanging onto my parents for life and become an independent woman. I believe that an individual’s personal learning process would include: informal and formal learning, motivation, attitudes, friends, learning style and access to resources.I choose these influences because they all have an effect on an
Listening to my inner coach has made me restore faith in my abilities, is supportive, and leaves a feel-good effect. Session 7 saw us identify areas of our own lives that may be causing stress, which for me is finding a balance between work and university. The belief behind this stress is that I must do well at uni, and give it priority to everything else, but I must also earn some money to survive, so as not to feel as though my partner is ‘carrying’ me. When I thought about the underlying issues of the stress, I realised that it was mainly due to the fact that my time management was lacking, so the plan that I developed to reduce this stress in my life was to prioritise my time better. This plan included: * Telling work that I could only do 2 days a week, being Mondays and Fridays * Getting a calendar to work out when all university assessments were due, so that I always have it out in front of me * Making a timetable of when I’m at school, work and fit home study time into the
If parents take much time at work for example the time spent by Chris in Iraq, their children may end up being poor performers in school which will impact negatively on their lives in the future. So they need to be able to attend to their work and to children too because they need support both in education and in the social perspective of growth. Parents are important because they take a large part in their children growth in the sense that they teach them most of the things about life. In socialisation process of life in which individuals are taught about, customs, culture, and beliefs, parents are the main contributors of ensuring their children are aware of those matters. It is because they are the close parties to them, and it is also their mandate to ensure culture is
