Time management is all about the ability to use one's time effectively or productively. Time is what we want most, but what we use worst. As per Charles Darwin: A man who dares waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life. Really? Friends is time management so important? Why? May be because you can’t go back in time. Every minute becomes a past or history the very next minute. Time just moves forward - Time and tide wait for none and actually quite a few of us can do a lot of things alike, what matters is who does when. So, Time management is about accuracy of choices – what we do, how we do and when we do matter. You and I do so many things in a day, it is like living on a daily timetable. We have days divided for learning different hobbies and we have time allocated for regular studies, eating, playing, resting or to an extent to watch TV. So you and I get this wonderful opportunity to do everything, only it is in a planned time. I think by managing time we manage ourselves better, which is waste less time so we have more time to do the things that we want to do - The key is in not spending time, but in investing it. Basically we will never find time for anything, If we want time we must make it. There are guidelines on how one can do effective time management; 1. Analysing how you currently spend your time and deciding if it needs a change. 2. Define goals on what you want to do - It is important that we keep time for everything that is required for us to be healthy, happy and intellectually challenged. 3. After identifying goals, decide the priority among them 4. Allocate certain time to each activity, like a timetable - Doing any task in hand with utter concentration helps in appropriate utilization of time. 5.
