TOPIC: - IMPACT OF OVERPOPULATION Overpopulation is refers to the human population whereby it occurs if the number of people in a group exceeds the carrying capacity of the region occupied by the group. The term often refers to a relationship between the entire human populations and its environment, which is the Earth or to the smaller geographical areas such as countries. According to the United Nations, as of 1st July 2014 the world’s human population is estimated to be 7.173 billion. The world top five (5) most populated countries are China (1.39 billions), India (1.2 billions), European Union (511.4 millions), United States (318.9 millions) and Indonesia (253.6 millions). These data shows that at a certain countries the overpopulation cases are really happen and eventually will give impacts to the world as a whole. There are 4 main impacts to the world that can be listed which are environment, economics, healthy and bring conflict and war. Firstly, overpopulation can impact the environment and world’s surrounding. The notable impacts will be land usage, usage of water and deforestation. The overpopulation of the human will affect the land whereby for instance, the higher density countries have to maximise the use of land for the agricultural frontier. If the land is insufficient enough, this will create the land degradation. This perhaps will lead to the land productive capacity that may exhaust at some point. Next, is the water usage whereby in total, there are only 2.5% fresh water that can be used by the human. The findings show that state there are over one (1) billion people lacking access to clean water. In some poorest countries, there is up to half the population lacking proper sewage and sanitation facilities. This will bring the problems to the world because there will not be enough water to use by the people. Overpopulation is
