“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” -Albert Einstein This quote truly raises questions, and not all of them can be answered. For instance, when I first saw this quote I thought of how it would sound hearing these word spoken by a British philosopher, albeit coming from him wouldn't make them any less/more interesting. The reason why I 'think' I did this was to visualise the statement said in a speech by a wise, respectable professor. Simultaneously, I hadn't noticed how I was subconsciously ‘imagining’ something I had never seen in my life. Well, it was only after a few more reviews of the statement that I was fully aware of it. Albert Einstein in my opinion was a visionary; he was an esteemed philosopher and scientist. His curiosity is what inevitably led to the discovery of his famous relativity notion. I innumerably read articles about famous explores, artists, scientist the likes of Albert Einstein and many other things. Well, lets get to it then. It is said that young children have the most wildest imaginations because their brains haven’t been clouded by the many things in the world. That is why it is advisable to read young children stories, to keep their imagination sharp. The Knowledge that we have can only satisfy our curiosity to a limit, so in order to illustrate how limited knowledge is I will say knowledge is ‘cyclic’. I’m saying this because ones knowledge is within boundaries and those boundaries will only widen as time progresses but they will never fade away. Moreover, it is based on many things, religion, experience, research and many others. All of these are continuously changing overtime, whether it be small insignificant change or a fast obvious change, the fact is it changes.
