Krosoczka: Why lunch ladies are heroes” talks about an amazing woman who inspired him to speak for all lunch ladies. Krosoczka returned to his old elementary school and saw his old lunch lady named Jeannie. Ms. Jeannie had served Krosoczka’s father 20 years ago. So when they reunited, Krosoczka reminded him of his father. After that day Jarrett decided to make a comic book for lunch ladies and how they saved the day using fish stick nunchuks and captured bad guys with their hairnets.

Now we celebrate our birthdays together, and throw big parties for each other. This year, on my 17th birthday, her 22nd a friend of us both took us to the fair. I hurt my knee and had to go home before we got to do all the things we wanted to, and because we rode together and I couldn’t drive she had to leave too. I couldn’t believe after I hurt myself and was almost in tears because of pain she wanted to yell at me and call me names like it was my fault.

Walking into Nonna’s house smelling homemade sugo(pasta sauce) being dumped onto the fresh pasta she had probably made that very day was the best! On the table was chicken cutlets, salad, rapine, and so many other dishes along with tutto la familia(The whole family) I remember having to kiss everyone two times on the cheek, I didn’t understand this then but as I got older, I realised the importance of the kissing on the cheeks. After a big lunch, my Zio Stefano brought out a cake and everyone sang to me, they brought me gifts and I hold dear to me the gift I received from my mother. She had given me a necklace that was my great grandmothers. At that moment I didn’t care for it until I later learned that it was a necklace passed down from generation to generation.
In the beginning of the book the narrator describes seeing her mom digging through a trash can and then decides to have lunch with her. All of this talking with her mom makes her remember the horrible childhood she went through. When she was three years old her mom wasn’t watching her while letting her cook hotdogs. She ended up catching her dress on fire and had to be hospitalized for six days. Her dad took her away from the hospital without paying and soon after her mom was letting her cook again, as she called it, “Getting right back into the saddle.” At such a young age Jeannette didn’t take any anger out on her parents and soon took interest to fire.
At dinner table that evening. I could still remember my aunt made us pepperoni pizza smiled like wonderful juicy cheese melting down the warm crust. And the fried chicken wings looked so crispy and covered with the special handmade BBQ sauce. If it was any other day I would give the pizza and wings a big shot, but today I did not want even a single bite. During the dinner, everybody could tell there was something wrong with me.
Chipotle has some American food and some Mexican food. It also serves vegetarian food.The burrito bowl tasted so good I felt like eating it everyday.Also on the kids menu there is a taco kit where you can build it.All of those food are my favorite foods.This is why Chipotle is a excellent restaurant. My friend Annas favorite restaurant is Chipotle for many reasons.She chooed this restaurant because the food was tasty and it is half Mexican food.The part she did not like is when it was so loud.she heard this restaurant when there was people holding signs saying its grand opening.She wants to encourage people to come to chipotle by letting them taste the foodShe comes to this restaurant four times a month.
