4.2 Evaluate personal levels of self-discipline for entry to the uniformed public services. Discipline is vital to the Public services; in my opinion I agree that there should be discipline because of my experience of what I have been doing in lessons. In our class we have been doing events to demonstrate self-discipline, my group was the first group to go, we got the class to do a circuit on putting on clothes with a tennis ball in there hand and cone on their head, if the person dropped any of the equipment or even mess about they would have to re-do the whole course, this would show that the person doing the event would have to concentrate and preform the right skills to complete the event. The aim was for one team to finish first and
The first way in which we try teach these traits is too model these behaviors to the kids in my program to the best of my ability. I know I can’t be perfect all the time, and when mistakes occur I need to make sure I correct them and admit to my errors. I try to teach kids respect by talking about what respect is, giving examples and modeling this at practice, matches, and tournaments. This can be done by how I behave around our wrestlers, coaches, administrators, officials, parents, and fans. We teach commitment by first showing them what we as coaches are willing to do.
Players will violate the rules... they always have and always will! Be prepared to handle these things. But don't paint yourself into a corner by being overly inflexible. Don't make a hasty decision or comment. First find out all of the details of what happened, the school's policy, and get the advice of your athletic director before making a decision and think also what long-term impact of your decision.
Players still have to make the plays happen. They will do their best to make plays and umpires will still do their best to call plays. There is a big difference between players making mistakes and umpires making mistakes. A player’s mistake comes out of competition. They prepare in order not to make mistakes.
The important thing that these offenses utilize is the ability to make use without a dominant post player. They allow for you to be able to have a successful offense without getting the ball into the post. The zone offenses discussed in the chapters and by the video clips both show similar strategies on how to beat the zone by the defense. They both show that the key to beating the zone is to stretch it out and also by penetrating. Another important key in attacking the zone defense is the ability to pass the ball.
Gross-Body Equilibrium is keeping balance using senses; this is needed in Tennis because you need to be able to keep balance when returning a shot. Response orientation is deciding on the position for an action quickly, this is an essential part of tennis as you need to be able to quickly position yourself in order to return a shot effectively. Being able to respond quickly to a stimulus (Reaction time) is required in tennis as you need to be able to react quickly to the direction in the air due to the windy conditions. Speed of movement which is being able to make gross rapid movements is required because you need to be able to get to the other side of the court in order to return the shots. Another factor would be manual dexterity which is being able to make accurate arm/hand movements involving objects at speed.
A fourth and vital skill is communication. A player needs to talk to his/her teammates to play effectively. If no one talks, then it is hard to work together. If you say that you are open for a pass, then it probably will not get passed to you and they could lose the
Some qualities or attributes that will help me succeed as a health care professional began when I first started participating in sports. I needed to learn right away how to communicate with others to get a certain play accomplished. If communication gets misunderstood then the play would not work, and it works the same way with health care. I need to be able to communicate with other coworkers to know what procedure or treatment needs to be done next; otherwise, we could potentially hurt someone or kill someone. That is why learning communication in my sports became such an important
Defensive court literacy and offensive court literacy are very different. As a defender, a player must be able to not only read the person that they are covering, but also the ball handler and everyone else in that
When a player takes steroids he or she would rather take the risk for strength and skills, rather than worrying about future consequences. Society, government and laws show that performance
