Abstract. This research paper describes how in Hermes company sales of leather goods increase, when advertising expenses increase, and inventories increase.. To prove the hypothesis I have used regression analysis of this three factors, analyzing in particular R-square and correlation between factors and other coefficients. Hypothesis has been disproved. Introduction Theory of my hypothesis was inspired by reading the annual reports of Hermes Company. Hermès International S.A. is a French house established in 1837, today specializing in leather, lifestyle accessories, perfumery, luxury goods, and ready-to-wear. Its logo, since the 1950s, is of a Duc carriage with horse. It was very interesting for me to read it, and the most I was interested in are leather goods, on this basis was made a hypothesis that sales of leather goods are influenced by advertising expenses and amount of inventory, that company owns. To prove or disprove my hypothesis I will use regression analysis. Data for analysis is found on the official site of Hermes Paris. Company has annual reports which I used for analysis. From my point of view advertising and inventory are factors that influence sales of leather goods the most, because this company makes huge advertising program for them and they are the most popular one. As the verification criteria, function of the hypothesis based on data should be directly proportional, which means that if advertising and amount of inventory increases, sales of leather goods will also increase. Looking from regression analysis, slope should be positive number. Correlation between two variables should be between -1 and 1; more closely to 1 to prove that there is a positive relation between them. Briefly, this will prove that by increasing advertising
