Alexus Palmer Many people use hydroelectric power for a type of energy to make life easier. In our city, we use it simply for powering all the buildings in the cities and such like, it is no different from electricity. This energy source provides some of the power that comes right out our sockets in our homes. Hydroelectric power is used when we convert the gravitational potential energy of water running down a river into electrical energy through the use of huge dynamos. Most hydroelectric power not only comes from potential energy, but dammed water driving a water turbine and generator. Hydroelectric power provides twenty four percent of electricity in the world today. That's over one billion people supplied with power. It is also used for irrigation, watermills, and textile machines, sawmills and dock cranes. Hydroelectric power is a renewable energy source, which uses running and irrigated water, without its quantity, to produce electricity. Therefore, all hydroelectric developments that run of the river comes together with renewable energy. Hydroelectric power is a great contributor in the nation’s power. It has the best ability to respond to quickly to a black or a storm knock out. For example, if there was a terrible thunder storm that knocks out lines pole in my city, we would not have to wait several to get our power on because our hydroelectric usage is quick and no need for wiring. Unlike Solar power, hydroelectric power is probably the most efficient at taking the out power from a source if any power production technique. According to Tom Gresham, “Green Living”, hydroelectric power has a steady supply of power, while solar power is an intermittent source with periods of time when the energy supply is interrupted. By hydro power is being installed, it can offer benefits beyond energy production. These energy source facilities create reservoirs
