P2- Different concept of health What is Health: Health is the word used to describe how your body feels, being healthy is important because it makes you feel good and live longer. Getting healthy depends on eating the right food, doing exercise, taking medicine if you are sick, knowing what to do if you have an illness or disability and feeling good about yourself. Positive health: Regarding health as feeling fit and well also refers to the physical, intellectual, emotional and social well- being of an individual rather than the absence of disease. Your body functions are optimal. No high blood pressure, no smoking, drinking or drug abuse.
Keeping active is good for all of our body systems. Losing independence can have a negative impact on individual health and well-being. 2, Explain how active participation promotes independence in the task of daily living Active involvement in learning to develop life skill can help individual to become independent. Learning in a safe environment and knowing that there is support at hand in case it is needed will give a individual confident and reassurance. Some individual who are being supported in the community will find care worker support and encouragement invaluable.
You need to incorporate a balanced diet and exercise in your lifestyle. When you are taking care of yourself you have a positive energy that keeps you motivated. Not having a healthy life could cause mental health problems that could lead to depression, weight gain and poor health conditions. You should interact with others around you and live a social life. You need to express yourself rather than bottle up your emotions.

Carers can help this process by offering activities that are enjoyable, safe and have minimal risks. This is important because it helps people enjoy the things that they are able to do, rather than offering them something they will struggle to do with the possibility of injuring themselves. They will also enjoy things that can keep their brains active, such as crosswords, paintings and colouring, keeping their hand eye coordination strong.

Staying physically healthy and having a good healthy mind, staying happy and keeping emotions level, and loving God and following Jesus is being healthy and well. I would say that I am not in fact fully healthy and well because the main dimensions that I fail to have is being fit and eating healthy and working out, not smoking and staying away from risks of many diseases. Social health is being social and communicating with others. My situation of communicating is average only because I seem to stay in good conversation with few people and close ones.
