Formal Rhetorical Analysis of Doug The Puppet I was browsing You Tube along with millions of other Americans, and I witnessed America’s next famous animated personality. A few weeks ago Ford released a new line of commercials for their new energy efficient coupe from the synergy automotive line, the Ford Fiesta. Although the coupe was the product being sold in the commercial, it was not the main focus of the ad. Ford Like Geico, Aflac, and numerous other companies, has picked up a goofy new mascot. Doug the puppet is the main character In Fords recent synergy commercial series Doug along with his salesman John argue over redundant humorous quarries.
In driving in Jacksonville, the Naval Air Station at Jacksonville has outlawed the use of a cellular device while driving on the base. This makes you wonder… why don’t more states and places ban the use of cell phones while driving if it means safer roadways? A student at MIT even did a study using the “most popular, addictive video games of all time”, Mario Kart. His project didn’t include distractions like this one, but it shows us that the game is highly popular and therefore people should take interest and be excited to read about a project that includes the game [Mail Online. Businesses were started to sustain the students, everyone still had education without the shouting, boys and girls knew how to defend themselves, and the school was running perfectly. Everything was looking up until they got a call from the School Board saying that they will have their SATs this Saturday. The principal contacted the board so that when the students fail, he could take the school back. Ken knew that the principal was going to try something like this. Using his mad hacking skills, he hacked the SBA (School Board Association) and printed a copy of the SAT.
works. It’s not like I don’t think he’s not phony and all, I still hate him for writing those craps he writes. What else I could have done, the “hotshot” doctor said I have to stay at somewhere near my family, and it was the only goddam option I had. I’m bit looking forward to the new school; tough I’m just halfway to the damn assignments to catch on to… And, old Phoebe, she is just so smart
“Shall endow chariots with incredible speed, without the aid of any animal,” David Goewey was talking about SUV’s in a sense, but this relates to the Ford Mustang too. In the early 60’s muscle cars were huge with younger people (Goewey 147). Chevy and Dodge already had their muscle cars and theirs were big with this generation even the Pontiac Firebird was accepted to the muscle cars standards. But Ford was the only one without any type of muscle cars, this was when John Najjar pitched his idea of a car different than any other made, it was wild, free, fast, wicked. Ford’s Mustang first model was in 1964; it was revolutionary to the car world.
Assignment 1 Aixel Garcia COM200: Interpersonal Communication Prof. Cheri Ketchum January 24, 2014 Being able to communicate properly is an everyday task, is not only about knowing the proper way to speak or listening, but it involve and could interfere with the message we want to get across. After reading the article “Close relationships sometimes mask poor communication” (2011), we can notice how different we might interpret one simple sentence like “it’s getting hot in here”. I remember one day at a family gathering, my brother was talking to his girlfriend and she made the comment “I’m hot” and my brother to be funny told her “of course, that’s why I’m dating you”. We laugh knowing that he was joking with her, but his girlfriend
I started to go to community college for a little while but couldn’t seem to stay focused on anything but getting messed up with my friends and nothing really bad had happened, meaning no consequences for anything so why not keep on partying? So I did that for another year and squeaked thru a year of community college and decided I was gonna go to Culinary school in Santa Barbara because I loved to cook and had worked at a pizza place thru high school and that year of college. I was good at it and why not make a living doing it!!! Plus everyone partied!! Excellent decision I thought.
I don't look at grade portal or pay enough attention to see the homework assignments. I need to work on this. Because so far I've been too lazy to do so. When I get home from school sometimes I would rather watch TV or play video games than do homework. So I would lie to my parents saying that I am done with work.
Ezekiel I was twelve, the first time Ezekiel contacted me. I had to get a new phone, since my puppy thought it would be a good idea to devour the old one. I was one of those greedy kids who demanded the latest and greatest technology. I first asked for a Blackberry, and upon denial, I pouted for quite some time. Since we were relatively poor, and I was incredibly picky, my Grandpa settled things and said he would find the exact model of phone I had previously on eBay or Craigslist, since the model was no longer sold in stores.
It was a 99 ford f-150 that I had found in the local auto trader, it was exactly what I was looking for. We were at a shopping mall parking lot waiting for the truck to pull in. I was so excited to see it, I was going to have a car, that I can call my own, not my mom or my dad's car . This was a reward from my parent because I was going to graduate High School before I turned eighteen. We waited for about fifteen to twenty minutes and we hadn't seen
