During my early age I played computer games like GTA Vice City, Street Fighter, Delta Force etc. Images were the main factor that my mentality pulled me towards buying games. As technology advanced, the gaming system also got to the higher level. Game console like Playstation and Xbox started to show up in the market. The consumer rate was so high that when I went to Game Stop to purchase a Playstation it was already sold out.
Even though the Sony Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 have many similarities, 2010 will prove which console is most wanted by gamers. It’s no secret that this feud, between these two systems has been going on for years. After this essay, the decision will be unanimous. It was from this point that I knew gaming would become a very large part of my life. I believe gaming was my first real experience of what technological multitasking entailed and what it can do to the human psyche. As any gamer knows, to beat the game you are playing or the opponent you are up against, it takes multitasking to be able to accomplish this. The movement of the joystick, the button-mashing combos, trying to foresee the next couple of moves, yelling and jumping all happen at the same time thanks to the ability to multitask. As gaming has evolved into a multiplayer online platform, I have found myself playing for countless hours leaving myself utterly exhausted.

Once successfully logged on into the game’s servers and you do this by having a good internet connection then you are part of a virtual world. Usually the video game industry will have servers located in high traffic areas for example the people playing in California will connect to a server fairly close to California or if not in California, or another heavy populated area would be New York or Florida states like that. Usually gamers will play people with in the server meaning people close to them to create a better experience since that data doesn’t always have to go global all the time. In some occasions it will have to send data globally and for that to happen at a fast space game industries will set of reapers of some sort to boost the signal to its destination which can be multiple servers/lobbies to make the signal travel faster and have less lag getting to its

These offers have also helped Microsoft stay ahead of its main competition, Sony with its Play station 3, as well as extended its life cycle. “A product’s life cycle is the period of time over which an item is developed, brought to market and eventually removed from the market. First, the idea for a product undergoes research and development.
