First, he explains that we will experience emotional pain when we recognize that the work we would love to do might just be unavailable enough to make us doubt that we can proceed. This can range from silencing the self-talk that can rob you of your confidence, to making fewer excuses about why you don’t have the time, patience, or ability to think. Discrimination can not only affect the person being discriminated against, it can affect their family, the wider community and the person using the discriminatory behaviour. When people are discriminated against they are denied the same advantages as others, therefore do not have the chance to reach their full potential. Thus, they do not progress or experience success which results in damage to their self-esteem which may dampen their motivation to learn. If they do not learn the required skills needed for certain rules they become excluded. Those who inflict the discrimination are also affected as they have the assumption that people have less value or are inferior to them, which leads them to have a false view/ distorted view of the world.

A good example of this is at work if there is a situation at work and you have to resolve it this person looks into different points of view and will do what it’s best for both. To me the main reason why luv is so misunderstood is because the word TRUTH doesn't play its part. It could be that u are not being TRUE to urself about the relationship. Or it could be that they are not telling u the TRUTH about how they really feel. Wuteva the situation is, people need to understand that when the Truth is told, the relationship will be exactly what u want it to be. Many times, people get scared of the truth and try to hide from it.

Human example and influence are also very powerful and can corrupt the mind eager for recognition or that craves to feel wanted and accepted. The morals and values that this type of person has been taught are pushed to the back of his/her mind and become less important than the need to "fit in". Unfortunately for these people, any attention and recognition is sought after, even if it is negative. There is an obvious difference between those who are afflicted with no conscience at birth and those who have one. No amount of moral teaching or love and comfort will keep these people satisfied and happy to be "good".
