Culture is what helped build the large society we live in today. There are all different types of cultures all over the world. Different cultures even exist within our own communities because of the multi-cultural diversity that exists in the US. Culture is unique to one another because of the different values and beliefs. Culture to man can be also universal because we all came from one culture thousands of years ago. In the US, we have our main culture, which is the American culture. American culture consists of values and ways of life different than cultures in other countries. For example, women are able to do more than just be a housewife like get an education, a job, etc. The US is known to be the country that has the most cultural diversity. A lot of the cultures that are practiced in other countries are also being practiced here in the U.S. Culture is unique to man in many different ways. My background which is the Hispanic cultures particularly the Dominican culture. My parents were born in the Dominican Republic and the culture over there is very different than here in U.S. The values and beliefs are different which makes it unique. The music, food, the way we dress are just a few examples that make us unique to many cultures. When I married my husband, I was introduced into a whole new interesting culture. My husband is Egyptian and the culture the Egyptians practice is so much different than mine and the American culture. Their values and beliefs are much stronger which took me a very long time to adapt too. Culture has been around for thousands of years. As humans, we take what we have surrounded by us and make use of it. We create ways to adapt to the environment to survive and create order between ourselves. When someone studies another culture, they learn many new things that they can use for themselves in the future. Although
