Climate Change is a big problem, and so many people believe that it is happening, and want to make a different, and there are so people that don’t care and pollute by always driving and not taking a bike or working. In this essay I will tell you if Climate Change is happening or it is something that is made up. Climate Change can affect temperature. “Worldwide, 10 of the hottest years on record have occurred since 1990 (records began in 1816)” This fact tell us that Climate Change is happening, on the other hand “Mean temperatures rose steeply in the decades before 1940 and dropped from 1940 to about 1975,” and this fact is telling us that climate change isn’t happening. These two facts, the first one is the most reliable, because they have said that they have recorded each year since 1861 and since 1990 the ten hottest years have occurred. This fact is also worldwide, and not only in one country so it shows that they have recorded it in each country so they could find if it has risen worldwide and not only in one country. In the other fact it is also reliable but they haven’t told us how much (it could be 0.1 degree). They have also not told us where they have recorded the data so it could be in one country and not worldwide. So it is not that reliable. Climate Change can affect polar ice. “Montana’s Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers, versus 150 in 1910” Polar ice is affected by Climate Change. On the other hand, “Arctic ice volume was 500,000 sq km greater than this time last year. Additionally, Antarctic sea-ice this year reached its highest level since satellite records began in 1979. Polar bear numbers are also at record level. The most reliable it the first one because it says that it is in a park so the results can be reliable, it also says that the glaciers have melting through a 100 years.
