Introduction to Ceylon Continental Hotel Ceylon Continental Hotel (CCH) owned by Hotel Services was the first five star hotels in Sri Lanka which began its operations way back in 1972. The hotel was originally commenced by a company called ‘Bactel’ and was previously known as ‘Ceylon Inter-continental’ before changing its name to ‘Ceylon Continental’ in year 2001. Ceylon Continental Hotel Colombo consists of 250 rooms and suites, with all rooms overlooking the serene blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Facilities CCH has a range of attractive facilities in order to satisfy its guests by maximizing their comfort while staying at the hotel. The 225 rooms for guest occupancy are all maintaining its five star status with facilities such as, air-conditioning, hot/cold water, telephone, TV, piped music, 24 hour room service etc in addition to a splendid view. The food and beverage department of the hotel gives a greater choice to the guests with its five restaurants, namely the Italian, Indian, seafood, beer & barbecue and the pastry shop being served by well-experienced staff that has the expertise of understanding the guests’ requirements.
