Prepare five questions that you would ask. 1. Quality of Service: it is important to know the quality of service provided to the customer during their entire dining experience, from the time they enter the restaurant, how quickly they are seated, timeliness of order being taken, and delivery of food etc. 2. How long did they wait for their food: customers are unaware of what management expects of their employees and it would be great for management to know how long service took for the customer. With this information management can evaluate their employees and if necessary provide more training if necessary. 3. Was the server knowledgeable about the menu: it is important that the server is knowledgeable on menu items to answer any questions the customer may have. The server should also be able to brief the customer on any specials that may be available. 4. Food Quality: it is important to know if the food was satisfactory or better than the expectations of the customer. I think that it would also be important to ask what was ordered if there is a negative comment on the meal itself so that it can be addressed specifically. 5. Cost vs. value: it is important that the items on the menu are accurately priced in relation to their value. If the customer feels the cost is higher than the value of the service and food available they may not recommend the restaurant to others and they may not return in the future. b.
