Imagine living in a park, under a bridge, in an alley, or even in a card board box. It seems unrealistic, but sadly it's not. Shelters are not provided for homeless people all year long and that needs to change. I think shelters should be provided for the homeless year round, and at all hours of the day. The world today is suppose to be about helping people. So how about we start by giving the people in need a place to sleep, and maybe even a place to call home. Homeless people face many challenges and one includes health issues. Homeless people usually have no medical coverage, or even medical care. Everyday homeless people are basically thrown into a germ pool fighting against all different kinds of diseases. Any cut, or scratch would be instantly facing an infection to battle. Without any medical attention the results could turn out to be fatal. How do you think homeless people feel living on the streets? Like a dog, or an animal. They beg for money, like a dog would beg for food. Now how low in humanity do you think they are to have reached that certain level in their life? People also kind of treat the homeless like animals too. If you think about it, the homeless usually recieve change, like the scraps of food that would be given to a dog or animal. At that kind of low homeless people have probably lost all hope in humanity. Although, they shouldn't have because humanity is important. You are human, humanity is your basic need! Some people think the shelters should not be provided year long for the homless. They think the weather in the summer or winter is suitable for a human to live, and sleep. Many also feel strongly about the expenses. How will they be able to keep the shelters running? As in: eletricty, water, food, and other necessary products. Surronding community's will have to help raise or pay expenses. It is a very time conceiving, and
