It meant I could remain anonomous, which i liked. It also meant that i appeared at the door whether the man was expecting a busty redhead or petite blond. I don't know why this wasn't a bigger issue than it was, but I was never turned away for not being the girl in the picture. The agency had long hours. I worked nights, which meant 9pm to 7am, but the girls knew i had kids at home, and so they would let me clock off early and head home.
I believe that this movie was a also good for our class to watch. It shows me personally how although they didn’t have any money they still ate food everyday because they were able to hunt and cook it for themselves. I also learn and see to look and appreciate the life that I have and the things that I have. There are so many things that you can take for
Ruth realized that as much as she loved cooking that it made her under appreciate her father and not take time to learn about him or his interest because cooking was the big thing to her and her mother in their family. Doug learned that he didn’t have the family structure as Ruth did and he always yearned for family would listen and talk to him about his accomplishes and things he enjoyed. Ruth’s whole outlook on this chapter is to inform us about a part in her life as she does in every other chapter. It’s very hard to relate with Ruth’s made point in this chapter because I have never experienced a feeling like Ruth has. So I cannot really relate to how she feels.
He was sure though, that his mom always preferred that he be at home, no matter who was to tag along. He also knew – they would be well fed. “Will your mom make breakfast burritos?” Will asked. “You know she will, Will.” Garrison answered. They both chuckled at their pun.
Molly was her name. She does me good, and not harm, all the days of her living life here on earth. She seeks happiness with me, and works with willing hands at home while I’m out to work. Molly loved being a housewife; she never did enjoy the working world out there. She loved to stay at home, keeping the house clean instead of going out and work.
I believe she needs to continue life the way she has been, but with a little assistance. Allowing her to stay in her home, continue her routines and life style will only keep her happy. Although she has chronic diseases they seem to be under control because her medications are very minimum. I think if she is taken from her routine or change her lifestyle it will depress her greatly. I would compromise with her by asking her to at least allow someone to come in at night with her.
Some of the members of my community look like me and some do not. I live in a neighborhood in which the majority of the people work hard to keep up with their bills. The people who resemble me consist of every race and look like hardworking people that are tired all the time. We all dress professionally and then when we get home from work we are cleaning up in or around our homes. The people that do not look like me dress casual all the time and stay at home, lounging around during the day so they look less stressed.
I want to be like my parents in how they raised me in having a nice clean home, being consistent with our routines, and always having food in my belly. 4. Messages that I received to what a parent is supposed to
“The women know the worth of this rich source of nutrition and they happily collect the food in their bags.”(Constantakis 63) These vegetables are a big deal to these families’ everyday cooking. Since they do not have money purchase or to take their families out to eat they are grateful and they see these greens as a blessing. Unfortunately people like Lorna learn to live a humble life due to their jobs and low incomes. “Las casitas near the gray cannery” (Cervantes 1) or little houses help the reader picture how they live. “The neighborhood is not a place where well-to-do families live.
This made my social life go from partying every weekend to sitting at home doing nothing. It was not very fun but I guess it was necessary because it taught me a lesson I will never forget and will pass this down to my kids. I learned that it is better not to speed because it
