I’ve talked about this numerous times in the past but I can’t stress it enough. How you deal with adversity is a true measure of character. Great athletes know how to deal with adversity. They posses the determination to overcome road blocks and obstacles because they understand the bigger picture. Outside of the church, I probably spend 20 hours in church ministry by, for example, visiting members. They are just about 5 to 7 years old. And it’s really hard to tell them to focus and listen to the teachers. But as long as we keep trying to convince them, I think they’ll listen well. I’ve been in this community for one and half year now and I really like it even though it’s hard to wake up early on my weekend day. But when I see the kids come to class every Sunday morning, once a week, my desire of coming to class to help the teachers is increased as the time I see the kids trying hard to keep coming to class to learn even at their very young age.
He has overcome many obstacles and remains on top of the music industry. His skill level is getting better and better the more he recovers. He inspires me in a way other artists today cannot.
