Teel Paragraph #2: T- The experience’s of an individual allows him to rise up and take control of an impending future. E- In the novel “I Am Legend” Robert Neville’s experiences have a consequential role in his everyday dealings. He not only dealt with having to bury his wife once but also for a second time putting her to rest when she showed up as a vampire to his doorstep the following night but he finds hope in the short companionship of Ruth and the Dog. E- “She came back, you see,” he said. “I buried her, but one night she came back... “I put her away again,” he said.
He is shy and more comfortable alone in the world exploring nature as he does when he skis to the beaver dam. It is Gene who compares the drastic changes an early snow of winter can make at the Devon school to that of war and how Leper is oblivious to it all when he thinks to himself “But Leper stands out for me as the person who was most often and most emphatically taken by surprise, by this and every other shift in our life at Devon” (Knowles 93). Leper’s withdrawal from the world around him is his way of coping with the harsh realities of the war. Although the war is raging all around Leper remains oblivious by escaping and admiring his natural surroundings. In the beginning Leper’s attitude about the war is that it doesn’t affect him.

Granados implies that life won’t always go as you planned. Rochelle learns and accepts the fact that things didn’t go as planned and she is okay with it. Throughout the story Rochelle is planning a white wedding that broke all the Mexican traditions. “My wedding is going to be classy.” Lily tries to tell Rochelle that weddings like that don’t happen in El Paso. Rochelle was embarrassed of her culture but in the end she was just another statistic of teen pregnancy.
Also, the Capulet family was in a fight with the Montague family. You can clearly see this when it is said “by thee, old Capulet, and Montague, Have thrice disturb’d the quiet of our streets…” (1.1.88-89).This fight made it even harder for Juliet because her and Romeo were not allowed to be together. Lastly, Lord and Lady Capulet had far too much control over her and would not allow her to do anything she wanted “To go with Paris to Saint Peters church, or I will drag thee on a hurdle thither.” (3.5.154-155).The fact that her parents were doing this is what forced Juliet to lie to them about Romeo. The way that Juliet’s parents controlled her and treated her all led up to her
For instance, in the memoir “The Glass Castle”, Rex Walls got violent, aggressive, and tended to scheme people out of money, cars and other belongings when he was drinking. He would be away from the house for days on end, he would be irritable and short tempered, and worst of all he would do anything it took to get a drink. This is what got to Jeanette the most. What kind of a father steals money from his own daughters? Another event that occurred early in Jeannette's life was that awful family Christmas.

He is proud of her and shows it to the public, he is protective and he is loyal to her. Later he changes his mind and wants her to marry Paris. But when Juliet refuses to marry Paris he then immediately grows angry as the head of the family he doesn’t like to be challenged. In trying to do what good parents are suppose to do, the Capulets tried to control Juliet’s life by arranging her marriage to Paris, someone that she did not have any romantic interest in. The prejudice and need for control in the lives of the couple by their parents lead to the demise of the romance of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence marrying Romeo and Juliet did little to avert the decisions the couple made in trying to take control of a situation that seemed doomed from the start. In the end no one but their parents could be blamed for the treacherous sequel of Romeo’s and Juliet’s lives because of the way they are controlling her life, the ongoing fight between the Capulets and Montagues and Friar Laurence for marrying Romeo and Juliet. Capulet and Lady Capulet are responsible for Juliet’s actions.
