Well no, almost everyday our soldiers overseas wear a type of makeup that is used to blend them into their surroundings while on a mission, this type of make up is camouflage. Actually scientists have recently discovered a new way to keep our soldiers safe from terrible burns. his research is very helpful. It explains the research needed to have made the heat resistant makeup. This discovery helps to make our soldiers safer, and not even just our soldiers; this could be used for other careers involved with excessive heat. I actually have an uncle who was in war. It was extremely frightening for me and the rest of the family, because we had lye what would’ve happened to him or if we would've ever gotten to see him again. If he was currently overseas this article would make me feel a little better, knowing that there are scientists researching for ways to keep our soldiers safe, and they've found a solution to prevent their skin from being burnt. This article is very clear and straight forward, telling the readers that scientists have made a new discovery in heat resistant makeup. It explains that the make up can exceed 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit) although it only lasts about two seconds, which is long enough to burn the upper layers of a soldiers faces, hands or other exposed skin surfaces. In order to accomplish the making of the heat resistant make up, they had to consider the fact that it had to be easy to apply/ remove; waterproof; not irritate the eyes, nose or mouth.
