Maintaining a proper diet is tough when you are living full days. My work is the main reason that I do not keep up with a proper diet. I eat at awkward times of the day because of my schedule at work. I tend to eat at work where I eat greasy and fast food because it is convenient. I have tried dieting before and have succeeded one time but failed the rest. Mostly it is because I lose track of it. I enjoy eating the Lean Cuisine meals. Most of them are very tasty and are low in calories and fat. Much of the food that I eat while dieting is pre-made meals. But when I am not dieting, I eat bad foods. I am a very big fan of eating foods that are buttery and greasy. It’s my weakness. These foods are convenient to make and they taste so good. I have a very hard time kicking some foods that I know I should not eat. My eating habits need improvement but it can be very hard to eat properly when I have so much to do each day. I also need to keep up with my exercise. When I was dieting the last time, which was about a year ago, I was also working out every other day. I was able to lose about 30lbs in a couple months. But I also fell off of that track. I started working an overnight shift at my job. Since then, I have not been exercising much. I am exercising a little bit more since I started this class. My Pyramid Tracking website stated that I should be eating 6 oz of grains and at least 3 oz of whole grains a day. I should be eating 2 cups of fruit, 2.5 cups of vegitables, and 3 cups of milk. Lastly, I should have at least 5.5 oz of meat. Meat is the food that I eat the least of which I was shocked at. I tend to eat plenty of sandwiches with meat. I also do not get enough vegetables, which I have been trying harder to eat. I need to start paying more attention to what I do and do not put into my body. I thought after taking this class, that I would be eating better and
