HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) 1. Purpose. This SOP provides for a health promotion program that supports and implements the Army Health Promotion Program (AR 600-63). The goal of this SOP is to maximize readiness, combat efficiency, and work performance. 2. Reference. Each annex lists the required and related publications. Appendix A in AR 600-63 also lists prescribed forms and publications that relate to this program. 3. Applicability. This SOP applies to all soldiers in the battalion as well as the members of the health promotion council. 4. Components. This SOP consists of the following: Annex A. Antitobacco B.
