This new system will not completely solve the problems with throwing away food but, it will help Kathy forecast what she needs and will help to ensure that she does not order more than necessary. The second issue which is the high-payroll problem is a little more difficult to deal with. The article suggests that we cut back on products that are highly sweetened with HFCS or any other sugar. ("Fear Of Hfcs") What does the research continue to say about HFCS and obesity? We must watch what we eat and be careful of the foods that we consume that are loaded with HFCS and sugar. As the research states, there are a large amount of foods that contain HFCS and it is almost unavoidable. In order to curb this issue, we must watch our waistline, we are to be careful as to what we eat, eat foods that are organic, cut back on sweets and exercise regularly.

Foods vs Drugs The classification of a product as a food or drug has become an important issue, especially in view of the proliferation and popularity of natural products, dietary supplements, and on the “health food” type products. Nutraceuticals This category would include foods or parts of foods, such as dietary supplements, herbal products, and processed foods that provide health or medical benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease.
Pollan’s enticing style of the book kept something that could have been extremely boring very engaging. He also took a complex subject and made it easier for readers to understand what he was trying to convey. You can say it is a modern twist to a dietary guideline book of dos and don’ts with a little bit of politics involved. Pollan explains that the government, scientist, and even nutritionist have been distorting, and confusing consumers with the foods that are out in market these days. For example, Pollan talks about margarine, and how scientists “claim” that it is a better, and cheaper substitute for butter, but it contains all these unnecessary ingredients that could be more harmful to the human body.
Although Pollan acknowledges that he does not have all the answers to the world's massive food, health, and intertwined economic problems, his call for all of us to understand the origins of our food is a powerful beginning. All in all, Pollan's aim in The Omnivore's Dilemma is to rediscover the connection to the food we eat and the environment it comes from. Section I:

In reality Protazen is pseudoscience, a claim or belief that is presented scientifically but not validated, and the only way to determine if it really has the effects it claims to have is to create and experiment using the scientific method. The scientific method is a system of procedures used to investigate evidence and draw conclusions and will be used to create and experiment to determine if Protazen has an effect on the amount of energy people have (Hockenbury, D.H., & Hockenbury, S.E. (2010)).
