He was born in Persia to native Persian speaking parents in the village of Wakhsh. The most important influences upon young Rumi, besides his father, are said to be the Persian poets Attar and Sanai. Rumi in one poem expresses his appreciation: "Attar was the spirit, Sanai his eyes twain, And in time thereafter, Came we in their train" and mentions in another poem: "Attar has traversed the seven cities of Love, We are still at the turn of one street". Rumi met another Sufi saint and mystic, Shams-e Tabrizi, on 15 November 1244 that completely changed his life. From an accomplished teacher and jurist, Rumi was transformed into an ascetic.
This is significant factor because military prowess led to the growth of Islam and made it an important figure in history. Islamic society was based on the ideals of ‘submission,’ which is what Islam translates to. People were united under both religion and society ideals. This rapid expansion of the Islamic Empire is definitely due to the strong moral unification of the Islamic people. In addition, religion formed strong spiritual bonds among the people as well (Craig 297).

Keita transformed the small state into a great empire. Musa, the most celebrated ruler of the ancient Sudan, came to power in 1307 and put together one of the greatest countries of the world. Paragraph 8 How does Hassan’s great ability to forgive allow him to lead a full life? Hassan was able to lead a fulfilling life due to his great ability of forgiving others and continuing to strive forward without the past catching up to him. There are many ways this is shown throughout the text and it is Amir who Hassan is always forgiving that really shows how strong of a heart Hassan has and his amazing ability to forgive. This is shown when Amir quotes “This was Hassan’s final sacrifice for me.” This quote demonstrates exactly why Hassan was able to fulfil his life; because he was able to forgive and make amends with others surrounding him. Another way this is shown is when he allows his mother who he had not seen “….since she had eloped with a band of singers and dancers in 1964”.
A possible reason for agreeing with the statement is that muhhamed was human and it is easier to relate to him than Allah. He carried on through his persicution . Plus he was a respected man and got the message right. Possible reasons for disagreeing with this statement are.... the qur'an is the word of god. This means that since it is god then that is the most important way of communicating with god.
However the one thing he desired most that money could never buy was his love and passion for Daisy. Gatsby believed that he could win the love of the woman he longed for by showering her with materialistic items. Tom also took great pride in his earnings and believed he was a better man because of them. He exclaims, “Now don’t think my opinion on this matter is final just because I’m stronger and more of a man than you are” (Fitzgerald). He, along with Gatsby feels content with the unnecessary materialistic items that he owns.
Introduction John Wayne Gacy was admired by many who had known him. He was considered a liable man who was helpful in his community, a role model for kids and people of the community. He was a smart businessman who was good in sales. When he wasn’t spending much at his construction business he was hosting parties for friends and neighbors, dressing as a clown and entertaining children at charity events and hospitals. He was also a devoted voluntary worker in the community who strived to make it a better place to live in.
Gatsby's social standing allowed him to be generous, because everyone expected it of him after attending or hearing about one of his lavish parties. Nick was below the high social standings of Tom, Daisy, and Jordan, and also below the lower social standing of Gatsby, but members of both classes liked and trusted him. As Nick said in chapter one of The Great Gatsby, Tom wanted Nick to like him as well. Somehow, Nick could transcend the barriers of certain classes, which made it easy for anyone to trust him, whether it is Tom with talking about his mistress, or Gatsby revealing his true identity. Wealth played a major part in The Great Gatsby.
