The Front Porch Café and The Cuevas Bistro From a succulent fresh flounder to a mouth-watering tuna filet, everyone loves some type of seafood. The residents of Pass Christian are lucky to have plentiful restaurants specializing in seafood. Many town locals consider the Front Porch Cafe and the Cuevas Bistro to be the best, but when it comes down to it, the Front Porch Café cannot be beat. Although they both serve wonderful, fresh seafood, the differences in the menu, the service, and the overall atmosphere set them apart from one another. The Front Porch Café serves such a wide variety of seafood that eating everything on the menu can be nearly impossible.
Everything you would expect from a Martini. They tend to wander with offerings of their Signature band shrimp (to make you thirsty!) to nosh on. Overall, the bar area is a fun gathering place with a group of friends. The food was overall tasty, but I can’t see myself wanting to go here again.
Buffalo Wild Wings The company I received Buffalo Wild Wings as my company. This franchised was established in 1982 with a restaurant in Columbus, OH. Since then, Buffalo Wild Wings has grown to have a store in every state in the U.S. and continue to open restaurants all around the world. They tried to reinvent restaurants by being the first restaurants with television and New York style wings. Along with sports and beer which were what the fans wanted.
Based in the southern United States, both of these restaurants are extremely well known, and the similarities they have are part of the reason. Yes, Applebee’s and Chili’s have their differences, but let’s look at how similar they are. Chili’s and Applebee’s are both household names in America, and the reason is branding. They spend millions of dollars to make sure patrons know their products.
Kelly’s Taproom is our most direct competition since it tends to attract both our niche market due to its prime location near colleges and universities and older guests. This “mixed bag” of guests creates a disparity and slight awkwardness between these two demographics; our niche 18-30 year old, young adult market is looking to have fun, where the older guests tend to just want a drink and possibility of a burger, not a raucous dance party. Thus, due to the lack of establishments directly targeting this 18-30 year old college student and young professional demographic, we know O’Houlihan’s Tavern will stand out and be successful in directly talking to our target
As soon as you walk in they grab your attention with a large windowed area where you can watch the chefs prepare and cook the food which, subsequently, shows that they are proud of the food they serve, the quality of the food, and the way that they prepare it. The semblance of the restaurant is a rustic, old western saloon style with furniture made of logs and rich fabrics, old fashioned coin machines, and to add an interesting and quirky touch, there are some animal busts hanging from the walls. They have a very interesting pulley fan system that is running throughout the restaurant, all of which is completely connected. To add some color and brightness to place they have a few decorative lamps that are from tiffany co. Overall, the lighting in the restaurant is pretty dim which makes it more of a relaxed and comfortable setting and the seats are extremely comfortable due to the nice cozy cushions.
Get Your Grub On What makes a restaurant successful? Is it the quality and quantity of food and drinks? Is it the service you receive? All of the above really should be considered. However, not every restaurant is perfect, Wreckers Roadhouse is no different.

By combining fundamentally sound operational practices with innovative marketing strategies, Ray Kroc (McDonald's originator) laid the foundation for McDonald's global success. Today, McDonald's values transcend borders and cultures. Each and every day, 47 million consumers worldwide visit McDonald's because they know and love the Golden Arches, Ronald McDonald and Big Mac sandwiches. In conclusion as stated before marketing is the foundation of all business and a business cannot flourish without marketing. Marketing is everywhere, it’s just we don’t recognize it because it’s been the social norm, but it’s there in plain sight.
