Grey’s Anatomy and Gender Roles Gender roles are not hard to see when watching Grey’s Anatomy. The Male doctors act lest emotional than the females doctors. While watching this show you will see how the females are the same in every TV show they appear as sex objects expect in this show all sexual relations are with co-workers. The females get talked about by others saying they use sex to get into surgeries. While the male doctors are giving out a pat on the back about the sex with the co-workers. The female doctors attitude are very different than each others. Christina Yang is all about the surgeries and would give up anything to be involve in it. Izzie Stevens is completely different, she is very caring and get very emotional when it comes to her job. She cares much more than needed. Meredith Grey as many attitudes one day she is all happy then the next day she is crazy and trying to kill her self. Overall Meredith is a very caring person who is scared of getting her hart broken by doctor McDreamy. Miranda Bailey she is a hardcore doctor that everyone is scared of even the Chief but, as the show goes on you see she as a heart and how caring she really is. Then there is Lexi Grey she is Meredith’s half sister and she is nothing like her though. She have a few problems of her own her father is a drunk and her mother died. She is a sweet girl and does not like to give out bad news. The male doctors of this show is some what the same is many ways and also in love with one of the females doctors. Derek and Mark are in love with the Grey’s sister. George O’Malley is a sweet guy who would bend over back wards for anyone. He is a good doctor who tires to help everyone.
