Green Consumerism Reduce, reuse, recycle, organic, soy based, and all natural. Eco-consumerism or Green-buying is taking hold of today’s society and is considered one of the top trends in business and in society. During the past decade social trends relating to the environment is the growing interest among consumers in reducing the environmental impact of their lifestyle and consumption choices. People are constantly trying to find ways to live smarter eat healthier, help protect the planet and bring more ecological friendly tools into their businesses. Green consumer behavior has conventionally been viewed as a form of ethically oriented consumer behavior that is motivated not only by the consumers’ own personal needs, but also by their concern for the wellbeing of society. Green consumerism has regularly been conceptualized as a personal moral orientation or a pro-environmental state of personal values and attitudes that inform a particular portion of conscious decision making. Buying green products are growing significantly even at a global level. Though few studies are done focusing on the international marketing strategies of eco-firms in other worlds we are seeking to find out more information about them. Young consumers also have a huge impact on the “living green” lifestyle being adopted by so many. Social influence is a huge predictor in adolescents’ and young adults green purchasing behavior, followed by environmental concern, self image in environmental protection and then perceived environmental accountability. Buying green or ecological friendly items come in many different forms, from food, beauty products all the way to eco safe cars.
