Creon had the choices of allowing the burial to go through and just ignore the law he made and living a great life with his family, or keep the law strong and putting all of this stress on everyone. Since he picked the decision of sticking with the law and following through, he lost he love ones and Antigone. Knowing that he caused the death of these three and it will live with him forever, it might as well be as bad as dying.

McCandless was very much like his father, as was Krakauer, which gives another tie to who McCandless resembles in Krakauer’s life. Into the Wild is an exaggerated story of who Krakauer really is. He lived his life on the edge climbing mountains that would seem impossible, but he has a limit. McCandless on the other hand had the attitude to go until he could not go anymore, which lead to his death. Krakauer is trying to show that his life is full of adventure and death defying feats, but he trained himself to know when the road gets too rough.
First of all, I have a lot more respect for Barack Obama as a human being. Not only has he become the first black president, he went through a lifetime of struggles to get there. Barack is one of those people that come around rarely in life, and he has touched a lot of people already. This book has given me a lot more confidence in doing some of the things that I am trying to accomplish. It has also made me sit back and alter some of my ways of doing things.
My daddy is one of the strongest man I know. Through out his life, he has work so hard by himself to be where he is right now. My dad is very strict and harsh on his children but now that I am older, I realized that EVERYTHING my dad did, even though when I disagree with him most of the time, was for my future and my own benefit. He is one of the most selfless person I know. My dad would always put his family and children, me, first before himself.
Protecting your children won't do them any good at all if they never learn to live on their own. Since you won't always be there to watch over them, they have to learn to take care of themselves, and you have to have the strength to let go, as painful as that might be. The father in The Road did everything he could for his son, selflessly and valiantly in the face of horrible circumstances, and by the end of the story has prepared his son, as well as he could, for whatever future awaits him. And that is what every father, even those of us in a dramatically more hospitable world than that of the book, should forever strive
