How to be a part of making the world a better place by going green will be discussed. Things we can do every day that will enable us to go green will be revealed. Some of the ways we can change our lifestyle can help make our natural environment better. This essay will review recycling, saving water, and limiting exhaust fumes. In conclusion this essay will elaborate on the importance of being involved in going green. First of all, finding out what you can do to help make the environment better can be a start to a positive lifetime habit. If everyone on the planet made an effort to protect the environment together we would make the world a better place to live. Taking the time to recycle is one of the easiest things that can be done towards going green. Trash does not dissolve when it is taken to the dump. It can take years for the trash to disintegrate. The municipal landfills are becoming full (GoingGreen, 2013). Taking the time to collect and sort your trash into recyclables and biodegradables is a “Going Green Motto”. Recycling is becoming popular because money is received for it. Cities are becoming involved in recycling. There are recycle centers where newspapers, plastic, metals and glass containers can be dropped off. The waste management company’s now provide everyone with a free recyclable can. Everyone is realizing how important it is to save our environment. Saving water is another ‘going green’ concept that can be easily learned.
