Personal qualities for leadership are deeply embodied in the New Testament, e.g,( 1Timothy 3). A Christian leader needs to avoid theological and emotional extremes. Balance is needed in the use of time, between administration and the care of people, between family and work commitments. As well as being a communicator, the leader must seek to be an equipper, this involves mobilizing all church members in ministry and to
The Holy Spirit is important in causing the change and the Word of God is the source of helping the client to become Christ -like. According to Adams (1986), this change must be toward God and must be “from the heart outward” (p. 7). If not, then the change is just superficial and it will eventually lead the client further astray. The very backbone of his counseling is 2 Timothy 3:16, which states: ," But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work"(NIV, 2010).
He believes that people need to be taught the word “of God”, conviction can take place so the counselee can repent of his sins, be set free, and change will take place. With the theory that Adams developed God’s word is the only way to receive the truth of God, psychology is an outside source and has nothing to offer when trying to help a person to change based on truth. According to Adams changing people or sinners from the inside out is not done by education alone, but by prayer, reproof, and encouragement (p. 65). Scripture is the way to obtain quick results where true

Background and Theme - The main theme of Chapter 2 is a call for Timothy to be faithful to Christ and the gospel to the point of suffering. Through out his letter, Paul is also instructing Timothy to prepare others for ministry. Barclay 240 Initially, this chapter reinforces Paul’s appeal to Timothy of the whole letter, to suffer for the faith. (1:8; 2:9; 4:5) The chapter then focuses on Timothy’s responsibilities in a local church setting. (Own word) 487 Paul follows on from his model of shame and courage in chapter one verse fifteen to eighteen.
Christian Education is a part of God’s purpose to put everything in Creation under the feet of Christ; it serves as part of His purpose to subdue people from all nations to the glory of God. I also think a Christian Education is a better education, because it feed the soul as well as the mind. It addresses the whole human being; it involves the body, sprit and the mind. One important goal of Christian Education is to teach the student to reason biblically. If each adult person or the parents of younger student took it upon themselves to be more Christ-like and build their foundation of education to glorify God, they would choose the Christian Education over the Public Education, which is controlled by the state.
King then responded openly with a letter that he addressed to the clergymen, but it was also directed to the entire world. King’s strong use of rhetorical devices helped him present his three main ideas: the reason he was in Birmingham, why changes needed to occur, and what he planned to do to bring about the change. Much of King’s letter is written with appeal, a rhetorical device he uses to help the audi-ence see his point of view. King begins the letter by addressing his “fellow clergymen” and in-troduces himself as “president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.” By establish-ing his position, it allows him to speak to the white clergymen on a more personal level while remaining respectful and polite. By the end of the letter King hopes to meet them “not as an inte-grationist or a civil rights leader but as a fellow clergyman and a Christian brother.” King uses ethos, the demonstration of character, to establish the fact that he is at the same educational level as the clergymen and that the only thing separating them is race.
In addition, in the ministries process, the members of the church should be embracing and participating in the ministries process, and able to internalize the process. Furthermore, called to build lives (Ephesians 4:11-12), and building the body of Christ can be an ongoing process (1 Peter 2:5; Ephesians 2:22). Rainer and Geiger say “ministry needs a clear ministry blueprint." Further, the authors view the process as the essential for the purpose of organizations because, the process that makes it work. The book continues to explain that a simple church can be a congregation’s designs around straight, and forward as well strategies process that move the people through the stage to grow
The three task that Paul charges Titus with completing are to appoint leaders, teach godly living within the followers of Christ, and to promote right conduct in society. Paul also encourages Titus himself to be an example to the people as a model of good works and in his teachings to show integrity and seriousness, also sharing the truth, so that false teachers could not criticize him. Appoint Leaders The first thing that Paul reminds Titus to do in 1.5 is to appoint leaders in fulfillment of the instructions that Paul had given earlier. In 1.6-1.9 Paul provides instruction on what the character and responsibility of those leaders should be. Paul mentions in both 1.6 and 1.7 that the elders must be people who live blameless lives and also states in 1.7 that they must be humble.
Worldview A worldview is simply, how we perceive the world around us to make sense of our lives, give us understanding, and clears direction as to how we live our lives. It is the basis in which our characters, beliefs, morals, values, are founded and how we live our day to day lives. In the following examples I will show the reasons to what my worldview is and why I believe in the one true God. We must first understand how we got here; In Jeremiah 1:5 The Lord says before I formed you in the womb I knew you God already had me in mind before the creation of the world. What I would look like, the color of my eyes, the color of my hair, how tall I would be, he designed every part of my genetic makeup.
