The basic model of a speech is constructed of three (3) parts. The Introduction, the Body, and the Conclusion. It's that simple. However in structuring a speech we need to develop an outlining format that will help to organize our ideas. Here is a format for a working outline: Topic: Future goals in Life Specific Purpose: Better life for the future Thesis Statement: My Future goals will help me become a successful woman. Introduction Attention Material: I will start off with a question Credibility Material: Various of goals in life Thesis Statement: My future goals will help me become a successful woman. Preview: People want many things in life, but it takes him/her the time and willing to sacrifice. Transition to the Body Body First Main Point: Not letting obstacles interfere my goals Subpoint: Family Struggle Sub-subpoint: Fathers battles Subpoint: Realizing anything is possible Transition to second main point Second Main Point: To obtain a career that I love and have the ability to help others Subpoint: Become a radiologist Subpoint: Finish school Sub-sub point: Help people in many different ways by telling the sex of the baby and helping people be diagnosed Sub-sub point: Get my doctorates in radiology Transition to third main point Third Main Point: To create a family where I can love and be a role model for. Subpoint: Future kids and husband Transition to conclusion
